Nikolai Diletsky (Ukrainian: Микола Дилецкий, Russian: Николай Павлович Дилецкий, also Polish: Mikołaj Dylecki, c.1630, Kiev – c.1690, Moscow), was a famous Ukrainian Baroque composer of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. He wrote an influential book entitled simply A Musical Grammar, first published in 1675, which expounded the basis of Western Music Theory.
